^ Prerequisite BIO 220 and CHE 121.
The study of the macromolecules and pathways of life that
allow cells to store information, replicate, and maintain
homeostasis. The structures and functions of the genome,
transcriptome, and proteome are emphasized. Introductory
techniques of molecular biology are emphasized in the
laboratory. Lecture 2 hours, Lab 3 hours.
