Current concepts in ecology, systematics, biology, and
biogeography of aquatic insects are discussed in detail.
Aquatic insect ecology and stream ecology are used as
unifying subject areas. The Neararctic and Palearctic
faunas will be stressed, but examples may be taken from
the other major zoogeographic realms. 3 credits
