A conceptual approach to the basics of chemistry with
emphasis on current environmental, social, political,
economic, and ethical issues. Some of the topics are
air pollution, global warming, ozone depetion, acid rain and
nuclear energy. Lecture 3 and Lab 2 hours. 4 credits.
