~ Biochemistry of Signal Transduction
^ Prerequisites: CHE 450 and 451. AD HOC Fall '08.
The purpose of this course is to present a survey of
selected topics in signal transduction research that
illustrate important principles and concepts in the field.
We will emphasize various experimental approaches used to
study the subjects, such as membranes, receptors, and signal
transduction pathways. We will also talk about areas that
are currently under investigation and with many unanswered
questions. 3 credits.
