^ Prerequisite: MAT 103 or higher. Not open to ESC majors.
The origin and evolution of life on earth including an
introduction to the geological and biological foundations of
evolutionary theory in addition to an overview of the
important evolutionary events in earth history. Laboratory
will include examination and comparison of the primary
invertebrate and vertebrate fossil groups. Recommended for
non-science majors. 2 hours Lecture; 2 hours Lab.
