A survey of modern astronomy addressing topics ranging from
Earth's time of day to the Solar System, stars, and the
galaxies, and orgin and evolution of the universe.
Exploration of the philosophical and societal interaction
with the scientific understanding of the universe.
Telescope observing
sessions are included. Lecture 3 hours. Lab 2 hours.
