Orientation, measurement descriptions and analysis of
planar and linear structures in rocks, including folds,
faults, and fabrics. Basic concepts of strain and stress and
the behavior of earth materials during deformation,
linked to regional and global tectonics. Introduction to
mapping, collection of structural data and contruction of
geological maps and cross-sections.
