PHY 230 - Physics-SCE & EGR I
~ Physics for Scientists and Engineers I ^ Prerequisites: C- or better in MAT 122 or ^ Math Placement of MAT 150. ^ Special Information: Lab Fee Required Basic principles of mechanics, heat and wave motion are studied using calculus with an emphasis on applications. Students who have not taken high school physics are advised to take a semester of elementary physics before enrolling in this course. MAT 150 must be taken prior to or concurrent with this course. 4 credits.
