Basic principles of mechanics, heat and wave motion are
studied using calculus with an emphasis on applications.
Students who have not taken high school physics are advised
to take a semester of elementary physics before enrolling in
this course. MAT 150 must be taken prior to or concurrent
with this course. 4 credits.
