~ Characterization of Nanomaterials
^ Prerequisite: PHY 519
This course will introduce theory and operating principles
for state-of-the-art techniques commonly used in the
characterization of materials at the nanoscale. Two
important aspects of characterization, nano-structure
and chemical analysis, are included. Will emphasize
force, transmission and scanning electron microscopy.
